Reception hours :
- Low season: 8.30 am – 12.00 pm / 2.30 pm – 7.00 pm
- High season (July and August): 8:30 am – 12:00 pm / 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Outside opening hours, the site is manned in case of emergency. The campsite is open from March 21 to October 10, 2026.
Go to Val de Boutonne campsite
The Val de Boutonne campsite is located at 56 quai de Bernouet, 17400 Saint-Jean-d’Angély, in the heart of the Saintonge dorée region, less than an hour from the region’s major tourist attractions:
25 km from Saintes, 35 km from Cognac, 40 km from Rochefort, 45 km from Marais Poitevin and 60 km from La Rochelle.

By car :
- From La Rochelle / Rochefort: D 137 then D 739, or N 11 then D 939
- From Niort: freeway A10 or D 150
- From Saintes: freeway A10 or D 150
Via the A10 freeway – exit 34 Saint-Jean-d’Angély (5 minutes from the campsite) :
- At the freeway exit traffic circle, follow signs for Saint-Jean-d’Angély
- At the next traffic circle, exit at Saint-Jean-d’Angély Ouest and follow signs for Hôpital
- Take the first right after the hospital parking lot, avenue du Port
- Just before the bridge, turn right onto Quai de Bernouet – the campsite is at the end.
By train :
- Saint-Jean-d’Angély station, served by TER trains from Royan, Niort and Saintes. For timetables and reservations : SNCF.
By plane :
- La Rochelle airport: 60 km
- Angoulême-Cognac airport: 44 km
